Bunjamin Kurtishi - Biography and Filmography
 

Bunjamin Kurtishi was born on October 28, 1986 in Skopje. He completed his lower-secondary school in "Nikolla Vapcarov", and upper-secondary school in "Cvetan Dimov", both in his birthplace. Then he enrolled his university studies at the State University of Tetovo on computer engineering. He started his professional career in TV Production. Since the establishment of the national television "TV Shenja", Bunjamin has been the responsible employee in terms of graphics and design. Likewise, this TV’s logo is his product. Also, he worked in several international TV stations like ANADOLU Agency as a correspondent and Al Jazeera Balkans as an editor for Documentary Program.

 

In this period he has collaborated with several productions and companies in this field as well. In January 2014 he opened the film production company "GALAKTIKA Pictures" which is still under his leadership. In September 2015 the Film Fund of the Republic of North Macedonia funded the short feature film "Conversation on life", directed by Agim Abdula. Bunjamin is the producer of this film. In 2018 he produced the short films "The Beginning" and "DECISION" which had successful festival life and won 10 Awards on diferent International festivals.

 

Also these short films were supported by North Macedonian Film Agency and directed by Agim Abdula. In 2021 Bunjamin Kurtishi produced two indipendent shorts feature films ``July” directed by Sezer Salih and “Lobus Frontalis' directed by Kristina Atovska.

 

At the moment Bunjamin is working on his first feature film “KOMA” directed by Agim Abdula. The project is in Post-Production process and shoulld be finalized by June 2022. Also, he is in the pre-production process for his first documentary feature film “75 Years Vardar Film” (the first Macedonian National production Company) directed by Vladimir Blazevski.

 

Bunjamin Kurtishi is an all-round film maker. He has several projects as a director and editor. In 2016 he directed the documentary feature film “The day i Knew You” produced by Men Media Films from Kosovo. In 2021 he directed and edited the short biographical documentary film “43 years of value” produced by his company GALAKTIKA Pictures.

 

At the moment he is working on his first short film “Camera” supported by North Macedonia Film Agency, produced by GO&Li Production Company.In addition to his authorial works as Producer and Director, has also participated as a Jury in several international film festivals like:


Dhaka International Film Festival, Dhaka - India
Reykjavik Visions Film Festival, Reykjavik - Island
Ismailia International Film Festival, Ismailia - Egypt.

Fidush Kjamili Aliu - Biography and Filmography

Fidush Kjamili Aliu was born in Saraj, Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia, on December 28, 1972. Primary school in Saraj, general gymnasium. He then continued his studies at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje.


In January 2014 he opened the film production company "GALAKTIKA Pictures" in partnership with Bunjamin Kurtishi.
In September 2015 the Film Fund of the Republic of North Macedonia funded the short feature film "Conversation on life", directed by Agim Abdula. Fidush is the producer of this film. In 2018 he produced the short films "The Beginning" and "DECISION" which had
successful festival life and won 10 Awards on diferent International festivals.
